Bio

Formed back in 2008, C.I.T.Y. Boyzz did whatever it took to make ends meet and to follow their ultimate dream of becoming rap artists. They have entered in countless rap competitions and have won many awards for great lyrics and creativity. C.I.T.Y. Boyzz was a trio of three childhood friends Marlo (Jamal McCoy), Tripp (Tay Joyner), and Caddy (Clearance Edwards) in Baltimore, Md. However, C.I.T.Y. Boyzz now just consists of Marlo and Caddy. C.I.T.Y. Boyzz was the new creation of their first four man group Blackhood that began in 2003. After the troublesome in that group, the guys went on to create the new group. C.I.T.Y. Boyzz stands for Change in the Youth Boyzz.

Marlo was born on November 25, 1987 in Baltimore, Md. He is an African-American rapper and founding member of C.I.T.Y. Boyzz. He has been rapping since 2000. His inspirations include DMX and Ludacris for their creativity and awesome lyricism. Marlo was influenced to rap because of his passion for poetry (since age 8). He has dreams of being one of the greatest and even a legend in the hip-hop industry. His style of rapping varies: hip-hop, hardcore, club songs, and more. To some it all up he is very versatile and works hard on improving his craft.

On September 21, 1990 a star was born; Premiere the Chosen 1 known as (Caddy). He was born and raised on the west side of Baltimore city and founding member of C.I.T.Y. Boyzz. Since the age of 8 years old he has always had a passion for music, he grew up with the gift of writing lyrics which he calls “A Ghetto Perspective” he knew was destined to be one the greatest Hip Hop entertainers of all time. His influences are Tupac and Jay-Z, inspired by their lyrical content, concepts and messages in songs. With a calm and collective cocky swag he feels there is no specific category or genre to put in him in because he think he can do it all! He represents his city and struggle in the street. He’s ready to blow!
